Dr. Shawn Cuthbertson

Brother Shawn Cuthbertson was saved in June of 1989 during a revival meeting. Shortly after his conversion, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he served honorably for eight years. It was during those years of service that God began to deal with his heart about preaching, leading him to surrender to the call in 1995.

Since answering that call, Brother Cuthbertson has pastored for over sixteen years — thirteen of those at the same church — and has traveled extensively across the country preaching revivals, Bible conferences, mission conferences, family conferences, camp meetings, and youth meetings. He holds a doctorate and brings both the passion of an evangelist and the shepherd’s heart of a pastor to every meeting.

Brother Cuthbertson has been deeply involved in mission work for over twenty-five years, including service in radio and printing ministries and his role as Assistant Director of Hands Across Borders International. Two of his former staff members have gone on to serve on the mission field, a testimony to the Lord’s work through his ministry.

He is also a United States Marine Corps veteran, a father of four, and a grandfather of nine. His life has been marked by both trial and triumph — having cared for his late wife through a lengthy illness and having grown up in a home marked by addiction and abuse — and God has used those experiences to give him a compassionate, biblical voice for those who are hurting.

In 2016, the Lord allowed Brother Cuthbertson to marry his wife Krista, and together they travel in full-time evangelism, serving local churches across the country.

Sister Krista Cuthbertson

Sister Krista Cuthbertson is a vital and active partner in the ministry of the Cuthbertsons. She holds two master’s degrees in biblical counseling, and God has uniquely equipped her to minister to women and families with both scriptural depth and practical wisdom.

Sister Krista is the heart behind the Sister to Sister Ladies Ministries, through which she speaks at ladies’ conferences both one-day and week-long. Drawing on her academic training, personal testimony, and life experiences, she helps women address real-world struggles from the Bible — including addiction, grief, anxiety, and learning what it means to be a godly helpmeet.

She is also a dedicated children’s ministry worker, specializing in helping local churches launch and sustain VBS programs — from a church’s very first one to its thirtieth — with a particular heart for low-budget, high-impact ministry.

Along with Brother Cuthbertson, Sister Krista has taught at Bethel Bible College and is a co-laborer in the Healing Hearts Conferences, bringing her counseling background to bear on the needs of those walking through depression, anxiety, and emotional trauma.

Her warmth, her love for the Word, and her genuine care for people have made her a blessing to pastors, pastor’s wives, and ladies in local churches across the country.
